I was born and raised in the small Northwest Georgia town of Chatsworth. Considering I come from a long line of farmers [over one hundred years], if you had told me when I was young that I would be working in tech, I would not have believed you. However, when I went to college at Kennesaw State University, I knew I was meant for a different path than farming. While working full-time, I graduated from KSU in 2014 with a B.S in Business Management, and immediately after graduation I began working in training and process improvement for one of the world’s leading manufacturers.

A couple of years later, I moved into a product/marketing project management position. I wanted to take my career deeper into project management so I earned my PMP certification in June 2019. When I’m not managing projects at work, I’m managing projects at home. Whether that be building a home, or planning backpacking and weekend trips, I’m always planning the work and working the plan!

In early January 2020, I joined Conversant Group as a new Project Coordinator. My role is to assist Project Managers in the execution of projects and to ensure they are completed within budget, on time, and within scope. My main goal every day is to move us closer to the goal line on each project. Though I am new to the tech industry, I have experience managing projects with budgets of over $2M. The thing I enjoy most about project management is the being able to see a project go from the beginning stages to full execution; I love seeing the tangible results. However, the thing I enjoy most about my job at Conversant is the level of intellect and skill exhibited by those around me. Regardless of where my career takes me, Conversant will forever be a pivotal turning point in my career as well as my life.
